So, i'm ready to buy my new rig. I was offered a discount, which solidified my decision to get it. However in order to appease the God(s) (wife, eventually her family if she whines too much), i'm going to make payments of $1-1.5k every two weeks. My problem is, it says in the buying options "help file" that you can have your bank set up installments. But that's not an option on the purchasing page. So how do i get it to just take the installed payments rather than billing the full thing?
Thanks everyone,
Ken

You have to talk to your bank about it.

Yea but, i just say "I'd like to send DS $1500 every 2 weeks until $XXXX has been paid". But What needs to happen on DS's side? Here is my thought process and how i'm kind of unsure of what to do:
- Make purchase on web site for full amount.
- Call bank and tell them not to pay the full amount, but send it in increments.
- DS calls me to wonder what's up with my payment...they try to charge the full amount and it gets declined.
- Something finally gets settled, and my system ships at some point in time after the final payment hits (or do they send it before?).
Sorry for the headaches and confusion Sky. Where do you work btw? reading through old forum entries...you should come work for the company i work for...we need people like you! hah!

I think the "have your bank set up installments" means you get a loan to pay DS in FULL... and make your payments to your bank.

yeah technically you'll be getting a loan from the bank.
