first off i would completely get rid of the cryo-tech in all reality you will never need a cpu to be below o degrees. you can build an ultimate build for well under 10K 

Gah, I'm nervous here because this really puts DSO's quality on the spot. I have full confidence that they'll ship you a solid PC that'll last for years, but human error or shipping disasters have no doubt ruined rigs in the past. Don't let that discourage you, 99.99999....% of rigs arrive fine, it's just that there have been lemons in the past despite all the double-checking DSO does. Usually, FeDex/UPS is to blame really.

Given your budget and the fact that this is going to be a surprise (right? ), in-house painting and/or LaserMark may interest you. Of course it'll add to build time and cost starts from $200, but given that the beauty of the typical gaming PC is in its components, I'd say this will make it really stand out. In the past they've offered some sick painting with automobile stuff. Could do something like white outside, black inside, blue liquid cooling tubing, and blue on that "AVENTUM" logo piece. Your own creativity is the limit, hehe.

LaserMark, I dunno, endless possibilities there. The left side of the case is just BEGGING for a LaserMark graphic in my opinion. The right side acrylic window, eh, not so much given the "AVENTUM" piece, but you could stick some text there and that looks like it'll work. Bah, what am I to say looks good or not lol.

Cryo-TEC is in the ballpark, and I think your option including the video cards and chipset is worth it. That cooling begs for the graphics cards to get overclocked as well, I don't know which is best in your situation though., in-house or DIY.

Hard drive wise, I think it's an injustice to have a desktop of that caliber without insane boot speeds and load speeds. Get "2x (160GB Solid State (By: Intel) (Model: 320 Series)" (Expert Mode), and set them to "Configure HDD Set 1 to a Raid 0 Config - Stripe Performance (Requires Two HDDs) [+$0]".

My brain is in "splurge" mode given you mentioned a $10k spending ceiling. There's technically still headroom, room to stick in a third GTX 680, put in that i7 Extreme, put in a Asus Rampage board, etc. etc. We, the community, need to know what resolution monitor this will be running to know what's practical though.

Warranty, that's a decision I can't really make. Usually, these things get upgraded within a few years, but I'm not sure what this insane beast will go through. It really should be lasting at least a good two processor generations before performance starts dropping off. Life-time care is there too, and DSO will, as always, take it back and rebuild the thing no-nothing-cost-to-you if it breaks down in 30 days somehow. I'd say 4 year is practical, as it gives you two years of physical product replacement if something goes haywire. After two years, it's usually more worth getting that year's tech than going back.

Like ablahblah said....we need to know the gaming monitor you'll be using. 

The 30" monitor would be 2560x1440 resolution I believe.   The sli gtx680's the guys put together would play well with it.  Plus, with the X79 platform you could easily add another gtx680 for a total of three if needed for any future desires.   Good Luck and this rig is gonna ROCK !!

The Dell U3011 has a resolution of 2560 x 1600 and has a 16:10 aspect ratio. It is the 27" that has the 2560 x 1440.
