I really need some help with this. I've been having problems with my Lynx Level 4 that I got in December 2020. I did a factory reset yesterday from the cloud because I wanted to start fresh as I was getting a bit low on space. Everything was working fine until a few hours later after I restarted my PC when I got this message "Please back-up your data and replace your hard disk drive. A failure may be imminent and cause unpredicatble fail." It kept popping up no matter how many times I restarted my PC. I finally figured out a way around it by disabling the SMART feature in the BIOS. Other problems started popping up and I tried to do another factory reset, but the cloud download gives me a message saying "Unable to download. Please try Reset this PC using the local reinstall option." When I try to use the local reinstall option, it resets my pc and boots up normally without doing the factory reset. Instead, it removes my history and things I've downloaded and saved from that session from before I restarted my PC and reverts everything back to the way it was yesterday. This keeps happening with anything that has to do with restarting my PC. Here's a list of some other problems:

1. My computer randomly bluescreens, both while I'm in-game and on my desktop. I remember one of the stop codes was for Memory Management.
2. I keep getting "Download error - 0x800b0003" when trying to use Windows Update in the settings
3. When I try to open .exe files, it gets blocked by Microsoft Defender SmartScreen and says "This app can't run on your PC. To find a version for your PC, check with the software publisher", even though my PC could run it before.
4. When I try to download a file with WinRAR, the file inside of the folder is white and has no extension instead of being a folder.

I have no idea what I'm doing when it comes to computer stuff and looking for answers online has just overwhelmed and confused me.

Contact DS... let them run their diagnostics to see if it is a mechanical failure, or impending one. You can use the contact information above. Good luck!

To make space in the "C" drive I use CCleaner. It removes a lot of garbage that accumulates with use.
DS will set you up and find what is wrong with the system. Good luck. Smile
