Hello,

I need your suggestions on upgrading my graphics card for this PC I purchased a few years ago. I play a lot of flight sims, Skyrim, Civilization V, Shogun II, etc type of games. I think is it time for better graphic card with more memory to improve my frame rate at higher graphical setting.

Which Nvidia graphic card would best with this configuration with highest memory and performance?

Can I use the GTX 275 card for PhysX if the two cards are different models and memory?

Should I upgrade anything else? Besides the entire PC Big%20Smile

Hi Bishop....   I would get the gxt 660Ti for about $300 or the gtx 670 for about $400 for a huge boost in gaming.  I'm guessing about double the performance with a big drop in power required.

The rest looks good to me.

I would retire the gtx 275.  Not needed for PhysX with new cards.

Here's a link comparing the gtx 285, didn't have the 275, and the 660ti.  You can put in any two cards you'd like in the chart.

Good Luck.Big%20Smile

Hi Bishop,

I would upgrade to the 670 2GB and be done with it for a good while yet. If you want to see drastically improved load times you might also consider adding a SSD. The 120Gb can be bought at a good price these days.
