I can not find a used one for sale on ebay or CL or redit. Were are good places to buy used DS computers?

Well if you added a twin turbocharged doofus doll to the second from last cheese cracker - it might just work...

I am thinking people must keep them forever. I just upgraded to a new Digital Storm system a few months ago. The 12 year old Digital Storm system still works good and is used by other family members now.
In the 12 years I have had the old DS system I only had to replace a CPU air cooler fan. Digital Storm systems are built with data center quality and will definitely last! Good luck finding a used Digital Storm computer. Most owners never get rid of them when they upgrade. They are usually handed down to family for years & years. Most systems are passed on and die in a corner. The Velox case, being exclusive to DS and very roomy is a keeper. I have one and expect I will clean it up when the time comes in a few years and replace the hardware with whatever is current at the time. Good luck finding one.

Digital Storm does not allow selling on these forums so your chances here are slim. Also, should you get a DS machine from a 3rd party seller be certain to get the Ownership Warranty Transfer, otherwise DS techs can't help you down the line. Should you buy from DS the Warranty of Lifetime Technical help follows you. Good luck. |

The best way to get a Digital Storm system is to take a few minutes and look at the new systems they have available.
Let the Forum members know what kind of games or other needs you expect. They will assist you in insuring that you get an optimized system that will last a lifetime. |

Yes, the Velox is a very nice case. It's big enough to handle pretty much anything, but not so big that it's inconvenient (like the Aventum.) For me it's right in the sweet spot. I think that's why people hang on to them forever.

Yeah, I was going to get a ************ But it only has room for a ITX board. So I got a quote to re do the case in cad to take a E-ATX board But the cost is $2300 just for the cad file. I am scared of the future heat that will be generated by 2x video cards that the F131 will in no way be able to handle the heat so I think I am back to the Velox.

I love the Velox!
It is actually cold to the touch because of the mesh front, top, & back as well as the compliment of fans that Digital Storm provides. I only feel a little warm air coming out of it when I am gaming on ULTRA settings in an AAA game taxing my RTX3080 & 5900x. Then it is dissipated quickly. I like the Velox case but it is a little heavy and I am very careful with the smoked glass sides. It is a beauty!! |

I think I might buy the $1,800 base Velox sell all the parts keep the case. I think I am going to go down this path.
I have one question though. Do they sell owners parts? I would want 3 extra drive cages. Or do they ask for old parts to be sent in? |
