I don't believe you all have seen a picture of our "Digital Storm Certified" memory that is manufactured by Mushkin. All of our sticks are hand-tested at Mushkin's factory before they are sent to us. We have had very few failures with our memory. Here is a picture of a memory stick:

very nice Alex
the only thing that worries me about this is that all the new people that their ram might fail, will blame DS and say DS's ram failed. otherwise its great BTW do you guys get 2GB sticks like that also or is it just the 1GB?

We've just started production of these sticks, the previous ones didn't have our logo, but, they still undergo the same process. All 1GB and 2GB sticks will feature this.Edited by Alex - 12 Jun 2009 at 10:15am |

I like it. I agree with DST with DS being blamed for faulty sticks. Get ready for the DIGITAL STORM oor you could say it another way.

Here is a usual order for memory: 3GB = 3x1GB
6GB = 3x2GB
12GB 6x2GB

Hey DST, if you are still getting the classified, ask DS to use these Mushkins. They have tighter timings, OC better, and will look awful purty with the Classified.

Is there a technical term/name/model for the Muskin memory?
For example, I have 6B DDR3 1600Mhz; do the sticks have a make & model that's not "Digital Storm certified by mushkin enhanced?" Edited by Psimon - 29 Sep 2009 at 8:26am |

The 1600MHz DDR3 memory (dual and triple) channel that we receive exclusively from Mushkin have had hardly any issues. |

I also love and have friends on mushkin both dual and triple channel with no problems.
mushkin is one of the greats.
@Psimon, mushkin goes by numbers for models, for example the ones in justin's pics are 998708. |

Got two sets of alphanumerics off one of the sticks:
"DS1600-6B (3x2GB)"
likely just the DS part number, description, or something
"HP3-12800"
ah-ha
Seems to conform to these sticks:
which leads me to my next question, why is the timing in my BIOS set to 11-11-11-28?
