Hi everyone I finally got my supersystem today and when looking at some of my extras I noticed the tv tuner says on the back for requirements windows xp or vista (32 bit). Does that mean I cant use it because I have the dual boot 64 bit operating system. It seems strange though I would hope DS wouldnt sell me something thats not compatible.

http://cdn.pinnaclesys.com/SupportFiles/PCTV%20Drivers/ReadmePCTV.htm  I'm sure this is where they got the drivers or some such.  There are 64-bit.  They're just in the beta stages is all.  I don't know how DSO does it but I presume they already got the Tuner up and working right?

PG1, vista 64 bit has 2 "program files" folder.

one is just program files

the other is program files x86

things that can run only in 32 bit you install in the x86 folder and the stuff you want to run in 64 bit you install in the regular folder.

in short if its already not installed in the x86 folder, install there and all should be fine

Oh wow.... if that were the case.  Then 64-bit Vista is extremely versatile then huh?  (Then again that explains why the 32-bit web browsers were mentioned to work under 64-bit environment.)

So you only need 32-bit XP for those rare times when a program simply doesn't work under Vista lol.

so far I have been able to get most of my stuff to work on vista 64bit version.

but lots are running in the x86 folder (32bit) and in task manager they have a *32 after their processes, indicating that they are running in 32bit mode

I was told by DSO that they had not gotten the PCI verison to work.  I know as they sold me one too and was told this by tech support.  However, if you go to pinnacles site they have a 64 bit version of there dirvers you can download and use.
