Hello, All. :)
I installed Plants Vs. Zombies on my new DS computer i7 950 with a Nvidia 470. So far the games I have loaded on it work fine except Plants Vs. Zombies. I can play it fine in a small window, but at full screen it has 4-5 black lines that flash on and off vertically on the screen. I tired to do the compatibility mode but have been unable to correct the issue. Will I be stuck only playing it in a window? Thanks for your help in advance.

It did work but the graphics suffered a bit, not as clean as the window play with the 3D accelerator active. So I just will deal with the small box to play in. I really like the game, When I bought it, I was not sure what to expect but everyone I knew were really happy with it and I am enjoying it. Another fun thing about it is that my 4 1/2 year old daughter loves it and is trying to play since it is cartoon like, and my 2 year old son loves to watch, especially when I use the Cherry Bomb to blow up a bunch of them, he laughs and thinks it is so funny. So I think with it's ease of use, entertaining gameplay, and definetly a hit with my kids, I would give it a high rating. Also, you can load it up, knock out a level and move on to somethign else is nice too. I hope they have a second one in development. Hope this helps, I would give it a shot since it is only $19.99 |

glad it works but yea thats the problem with that. Unfortunately no patch from the devs so thats pretty much all you can do :(. i think i'll give the iphone version a try but seems like its better suited for the iphone and i probably wouldn't play it much on pc.

I have been told that there is no difference in gameplay between the iphone and the PC. and you will be able to play in the doctor's office...DMV..and any other boring waiting room you may find yourself in.

yea exactly. doesn't really seem like a serious game to spend alot of time at once on but something to play when you have nothing else to do and since that usually occurs when i'm away from my computer the mobile version is easier.
