Please!! check my configuration for stability

This is my first time at digital storm and i want to be a most memorable one!! I am working with a $1600 budget (including monitor) and i'd like a gaming pc. Plaese review my specs for any potential problems! I dont plan to do any upgrading of any crucial hardware!!

Everything here will run stable. You won't be able to go SLI in the future with that motherboard or power supply, but that's not really a problem. All in all, I'd say it's a good build.

then why does the PSU say that it is SLI compatible?

It is if you use lower cards probably like the 8600 for example itd work, but for the 8800 on up it wouldnt be. Thats my guess at least.

Thanks for the reply!!! I have another question though. Why the hike in the price? I am waiting for my step dad to purchase my configuration and now i see it went from $1587 to 1785!

Yeah i noticed the same thing, a few days ago I saved my build and all of a sudden it jumped $175 in price when i went to check on it again.

yea i noticed that too, i purchased my PC for 1821 dollars and two days later the same config says 1963
