Budget:
1700, I can be a little flexible. I want to get a computer that is near my budget. This is my first time at DS, and I'm leaning torwards the Hailstorm. However, I think the H20 cooling is too expensive. Is it necessary? If the model is too expensive, I will buy the ODE 1. The res you intend on gaming at makes a difference.
Your ticket won't load for me. You don't need liquid cooling or the LED fans (unless you're wanting the LED for aesthetic reasons and it's worth $60 to you). The 942 HAF X has better airflow if you're concerned with that. The level 2 dreadnought prices in at 1565.00 + shipping, has everything in your build, plus a 570 instead of a 560. You would probably need to upgrade the fan, which will cost at most another $100. Alternatively, the level 1 Hailstorm also has a 570 and comes out to $1703.00. You could switch the 570 to a 560 on either model to drop the price another $168. The ODE 1 is also a good option and allows you to get the 2600k while pricing in below both of the options I mentioned above. |

And a better psu and case over the ODE 1. The ODE 1 is tough to beat for the price. The motherboard doesn't allow for sli, 2x gpu, same as ODE 1 Good Luck.

Unless you water cool your GPU the Hailstorm case is not a good choice. It is intended for full LC systems. The HAF-X is much better for air cooled GPUs. bprat22's build is a good way to go for your money. I would change the PS to the 750HX.
