Hey justin, just got the word from DST that I should make a post here in this forum so that you could answer my question. I wish to get a solid royal purple colored chassis,  but I am unsure how to do so. I can't seem to find any website that will provide one that comes in that color, and I don't know of any computer manufacturer or custom service that could do it for me. To make matters worse, DS has informed me that they would be unable to paint any chassis I ordered from them purple. So I am at an impasse: should I quit searching, and carry on with my customization for the rest of the computer, or should I paint one myself? Or is there a site out there that I just don't know about yet? If you or anyone else here on the forum could help, I'd be quite grateful.

what case do you wish to do this to?
My first suggestion would be to buy the case on line, and take it to a local powder coater... Most will custom powder coat a case pretty cheap, $50-$75, I had a very large case custom powder coated inside and out, and it was $90, but, it was as big as 2 normal large cases.
then ship it to Digital Storm.

To me the case is very important, because I know I will keep it for a long time, what is inside of it, will change many times through out the years, so make sure you get a case that you really like... especially if you are going to paint in purple. Ouch

Hooray, justin responded! Ouch Thank you for your prompt reply. Well, I suppose I could get a case from a local computer parts store and get it powder coated as you say. But it may be sort of expensive to buy the case, get it colored, and then ship it to DS (I'm unsure what my shipping costs would be). But if there is a store where I could select a case and have it coated, that would be great. Do you know if there is one out there, or do the two services remain separate, as you mentioned?

DS might charge you extra for using that case, also you many be able to return the system if you are not happy, make sure you workout all of those details with DS before you move forward, if you choose a case they use tho, like the haf and etc then I think you should be ok.

Well justin, what if I were to just paint/ powder coat the chassis myself? It might be easier than trying to find someone else in my area who will do it, and it could certainly save me some money as well.
