I have recently discovered DS.  I have been looking for a new gaming computer to replace my Dell that is four years old.  I have been trying to stay under $2500.  This config is quoted at  $2337.00.  I am not a sporting type and have read only bad things about overclocking (heat, instability, etc.) so have elected not to do any of those things.  My son recommends two video cards instead of one of the newest cards.  He also says that I do not need a sound blaster type audio card and that an integrated card with 7.1 is enough for me (I usually use headset during gaming).
Please help me out with selecting the right config.
Thanks,
tomgom

OOps. I didn't completely answer your question.  I don't really know what resolution I really want.  With this computer I just try different resolutions until I don't get that choppy action.  The resolution has been different depending on what game I play.

I would like to go 1680X1050 or above.  I play BIA at that resolution and it is not too choppy.
