Hello and thanks to any and all advice in advance! I have beed reading these forums for several days/weeks now and i came up with a build that i think will work. Now to answer the prebuild questions hehe
1. Monitor will be the dell U2410
2. Budget is as close to 2,000 as possible
3. I mostly play WoW, CoD Modern warfare, EQ2, but i would love to be able to try out the more demanding games like Crysis etc.
My main goal was to build a rig that would be easily upgradeable in the future as well as powerfull enough to handle my current needs.
Build number is:408713

looks good to me, only changes i could make would just be preference.
i would drop down to the 922 and use the extra to step up the cooling on the case, or maybe drop the HDD to 500, use the cash for the same or pocket it and hold out for the price on those intel ssds to come down a little
if youre going to be adding a second 480 in the future you cant be too attentive to case cooling! Edited by !ender_ - 01 Jun 2010 at 9:08pm |

If you're happy, it's a very nice build. You've done well, good luck!

build looks good but, for crysis and stuff you will find you need 2 or more gpus, and since you picked the 750w psu, you system can't support anymore gpus, if you want to be able to go sli then pick the 1250w psu.
Personally I don't agree with going with a smaller case, since you want room to upgrade in the future, but final decision is yours. Edited by DST4ME - 02 Jun 2010 at 12:36pm |

the X is bigger, supports bigger mobos, other then that its all minor, like being able to turn the front fan's led on and off and etc.

no biggie to me, if anybody does not like it, they can simple cut one of the wires in the middle and connect it back up when they wanted to have it back, but it is nice to just have a controller for it, the 932 should have had it.
