I am looking for a portable hard drive to store work related stuff.  I want at least a 320GB but would prefer a 500GB.  Can anyone recommend one or two for comparison?  Also do they make SSD portable hard drives?

make your own:

choose your HDD

choose your external enclosure

more external enclosure

this way you can switch HDDs if you need to and you choose what size HDD want


there are even HDD docs that handle multiple HDDs and are hot swappable, in other words you can just put in and take out the HDD like you put your cell phone on a charger and take it out.
