I have reviewed many customer reviews, and one thing almost everybody is told to do is pray to the shipping gods...lol.  There is possible help for the shipping gods.  They are called Shock and Tilt Watches/Indicators.  DSO could benefit by attaching these indicators to the dream machines after packaging and while awaiting to be shipped.  If an indicatior is activated after packaging and prior to shipping, DSO can re-inspect the dream machine for possible problems and ensuring another work of art has left their facility.  This would also offer DSO another level of QA/QC to their works of art that no other CCC offers.  Customers would have possible peace of mind knowing that when their dream machine package arrives, all they have to do is check the shock/tilt indicators to make sure the shipping company handled their dream machine with all the care it deserves.  After reviewing many configuration threads, I know these are definite dream machines for many, and maybe a little peace of mind for those people spending their hard earned money.  Shock and tilt indicators will not prevent accidents and mishaps of course, but if an indicator is activited, one would hope a person would do the right thing and report it.  Below are a couple links that explain shock/tilt watches better than me.

Great idea! I forgot about this stuff. I will pass it onto our team and see if we really need them and we could start to implement them.

Thank you Alex for the reply.  Because of things like this is what really attracted me to DSO.  Also, it may not be necessary to put on every system, but could be an option similiar to the wooden crate option.

We had certain components that after being received had a very high failure rate and resulted in us shipping the part again.  We decided to start using those when shipping those items.  It definitely helped when dealing with the various shipping companies during disputes.
