I've noticed some other boutique vendors have developed some sort of specific SFF rig, and I was wondering if DS was willing to expand into that market, if not take it to the next level hehe. I know DS currently has the Enix, but that's an air cooled chassis and LC doesn't really work to well with it.

When I eventually do a transition next year to Haswell, I have my eye set on a very specific case just because the cooling opportunities are crazy with it. It's Fractal Design's Arc Mini, which is a small m-ATX capable case with the stock ability to hold a dual 120mm radiator up top. Up front are two 120mm fan mounts, which begs to be modded to hold another 120mm. Down low in front of the PSU is another 120mm fan mount, allowing actually a single rad to fit in there as well. Side panel wise, there's one 120mm grille, but by putting that LC into the case, it also begs to have it cut out and replaced with an acrylic panel. Basically, someone has already proved that concept...eheh here.

Of course, you do lose the HDD trays, but you're just expected to stick your HDDs in either one of the front 5.25" bays or through the spare PCI slot on the case (yep, it has a spare one stock for anything that dont connect to the mobo, namely fan controllers but HDD mounts are no exception Big%20Smile).

That's pretty much my dream build there, makes the most efficient possible use of case space in any system I know of right now.

Btw, if one did some deep modding, there could probably even be a 420 (3x 140) rad stuck up top given the grille. Of course, now you lose all your HDD bays up front, but you can always make something in the back. ODDs are outdated anyways Hahaha
