I currently have 780ti in SLI in my PC. I looked at specs and it says the connector it needs are "additional 8+8 pin PCIe power required"
The prices for 1080 ti GPUs are finally under 1k and I was going to buy one to replace the 2x780ti. It says the connectors it needs are "Power Connector 2 x 8-Pin" I know this will sound retarded, but are these equivalent? |

Yes, 8+8 pin is the same as 2x8 pin.
Nice upgrading to the 1080 it.
Each of your 780s needed 2x8 pin, total of 4x 8 pin Your single 1080ti won’t need all four , just 2. Edited by bprat22 - 06 Apr 2018 at 12:46pm |
