Why is it that DSO doesn't offer any other brands of Power supplies, or RAM?
I'm a big fan of modular 1k watt coolermaster 80+ series PSU's but DSO doesn't offer it? Other sites offer numerous brands of PSU's...DSO only offers TechNPS(crap) and corsair...and 1 silverstone brand..... I think this is the only complaint about DSO that I have....the lack of options for the IMO the most important component of any gaming rig.......the RAM options are another problem....would like to see Kingston HyperX... Sorry for the rant but this really bugs me....if someone could get back to me with some options that would be great.... thanks in advance. |

I know you can request other components via special request and they will get the parts and install them in your rig. You should contact DSO directly for that.

But I shouldn't have to do that....they offer them by default....I shouldn't have to special order anything unless it's some special circumstance. Alex can you chime in on any of this? Is DSO looking into offering any other PSU options at sometime? cyberpower (I know they are a joke) offer every major brand....why can't DSO? I would hate to have to pay more to get it special ordered.....

corybo7, Thank you for your interest in Digital Storm. We would love to earn your business!
I do wish to express that, the TechNPS power supplies we offer are not "crap" at all. If they were, we would not have offered them on our systems. They may not have the brand awareness or marketing hype as some of the other top brands, but, they allow us to offer our customers a great "bang for buck" option that gets the job done and allows users to spend the rest of their budget on other crucial aspects of their system.
We tend not to offer a ton of brands for the same type of product as that leads to confusion. If you would like a specific power supply, we will have to special order it for you. The price may even be the same or less than the Corsair option. You'll need to contact our sales team directly for details. You may reach Sarah, our Lead Sales Manager at: [email protected]

LOL one can waste their money and go with that review or they can take the sure bet and go corsair, I wouldn't use a coolmaster psu if you paid me.
Every body also needs to remember that these reviews are all based on a couple of days of use, it says nothing about how a psu will perform a year from now for example or how reliable it is. |

I didn't recommend the PSU
In the end, i think most would suggest a PSU thats OEM'd by Seasonic and rebranded with a trusted seller Edited by dodgers2213 - 05 Feb 2011 at 1:42am |
