I have the HX1050 and the fan is pointing downward(upsidedown) - just curious how it's usually determined to install it rightside up or upsidedown?
Hope this makes sense?

That's the correct way. The cooling fan is on the bottom, sucking in fresh air.
You have the Corsair 1050HX, an excellent supply.

Your HafX has no bottom filter? They didn't before but I thought they added it recently, but can't be sure.

I bought a HAF X back literally when they very first came out. It had a bottom filter on it, and I mean that was a purchase within the first week it was released.
But, no that fan is pulling air in to cool your PSU. |
