I have a three year old Vanquish 5, i7-7700, z270 chipset, and gtx 1060 6gb GPU. The psu evga 600w, died yesterday, a new psu has been ordered and will take awhile to arrive. I use this pc for work at my home. Can I use an older psu from an old Dell Xps 8300? It is rated 460w max, but wasn't sure about the pic-e compatibility as the older psu is using 2.0 and my rig is 3.0. Is this or any other connectors a deal breaker using the old psu until my new one arrives?

We can’t be certain what your actual power draw might be, so if it was equipped by DS with a 600 watt PSU, I would not replace it with a lower wattage PSU even temporarily. I hope the new PSU you ordered will be 600 wat or higher, and hopefully all modular cables to make for less cable clutter...

I’m wanting to upgrade my PSU from a Corsair rm850x to a Corsair HX 1200i
In my Aventum 3 Pro Are the cables all custom? If so can I just swap out the power supply’s and plug in the existing cables? |

I can't think of a reason why Corsair cables would not be the same. I'd be surprised if they weren't standard for all brands. The factories would go nuts.
