Hi Alex,

Im looking to do some development for Autodesk Maya, and to do this I am forced to get a quadro card.

I am overseas at the moment and without my tower.  I would prefer to get an x17 or x17E  laptop so I can bring it back home with me, but want to have a quadro m instead of the geforce 580m.  I would like either the 3000m or 4000m.

First off, is it possible to request this?  If so, what kind of price am I looking at.  I cannot seem to find prices on the mobile quadro's since they are oem only. 


I emailed digital storm already but its been a few days and Im anxious!

We do offer a Quadro with the x17E, unfortunately, that is the only Quadro that can be purchased on that model for now.

Thanks Alex, yeah I was hoping to get the mid high range but may need to bite the bullet.

One last question, any idea when the x17E will be updated to sandyBridge?

If its gonna be a while I may need to settle for a 980.
