probably a noob problem but, I was using rocketdock www.rocketdock.com
and i pulled out Microsoft word from start menu and put it in the dock but I accidentally pulled it off so the shortcut is gone.

so I go into my computer and use the search at the top and click search everything but it cant find it and I look through all my folders and there's no other location, and without a location I cant create a new shortcut. but I can still open word doc's

Im not sure if there is another way to encounter this besides rocketdock but could someone help me?

I'm not using Rocket Dock, but I am using Object Dock.  Just go into your Start Menu > All Programs > Microsoft Office > drop down menu > right click on Microsoft Word > Send to Desktop.  That should do it.  Now, right click the icon on your desktop and pin it back to the Start Menu.

First, what version of Microsoft Office are you using.  Second, you are using a trial version?  Do you have the Microsoft Office disk?  If so, then run the disk and select Repair.  That will fix it.

EDIT:  Ok, you're using 2007 Trial Version. You have 60 days before having to buy it... yes?  How many days do you have left?  And, if you decide you don't want to buy it, do you have an older version of Office on disk?

I see, then run your 2003 disk and let it repair or reinstall.  That should fix it.

NOTE:  I'm not sure if the Trial version conflicts with 2003.  Nevertheless, run the disk and it should be good.  I use 2007 and love it, however, not everyone likes it.  It has the feel of Vista, which I love.
