Topic: Processor Posted: 19 Aug 2009 at 10:18pm |
I was wondering if my pc had not been overclocked because I looked in my crysis files and it said that I have a 920 i7 processor clocked at 2.67 ghz. My system is a power and value so it is supposed to be clocked at 3.33 ghz. Is that just crysis not reading it or is it my system.
(PS it said that is was clocked at 2.67 ghz somewhere else in my system itself too.) Edited by zmank - 19 Aug 2009 at 10:19pm |

Download cpu-z and look at the field listed core speed... Your bios may have been reset and your oc is no longer enabled.

It is overclocked, also, the systems may downclock unless they are under load. So it's best to put your system under stress if you want to verify your overclock.
