the 930 will be more powerful, the tri channel RAM for starters. then you can go into the actual architecture of the two, to find out that the 930 will be faster at most applications when both CPU's are overclocked to the same speed.
The 875 is super easy to overclock, almost too easy. lol  the 930 is a lot more complicated, and has many, many more options in the BIOS for tweaking additional performance.
The additional PCIe lanes of the 930 are also helpful when running more than one GPU.

The 295 is oooold tech, just never got expanded upon much and prices never ended up coming down for whatever reason. Happens sometimes. Never ever use price as a measure of performance.

SSDs are in the same boat, there are a lot of old really really crappy SSDs that just never came down in price even though there are new ones out that blow them out of the water performance wise and are even cheaper to boot. Basically they're just products that have been dropped and they don't even bother to update prices on them anymore.

^ Can you use size as measure of performance?

LOL I meant like the size of the 5970 compared to the 480? (what were you thinking!)

Just teasing either way - disregard my reply LOL
