A lot of people are expecting the C2D an d C2Q series to go down in price once the Nehalem launch. I wouldnt expect more than 50 dollars so don't hold your breath.

Price cuts have already been done, buy you never know, its hard to tell, best way is to wait and see, cause the rest would be all of our assumptions.

Don't expect any as Intel has already issued a price cut recently and the next one isn't expected until the first half of 2009 when they EOL their 65nm Core 2 Duo line up.
Just look at all the old processors, still the same price as before. As much as we want prices to go down, the reality is that retailers just don't drop prices randomly because of new products since they already paid for the product, they need to make a profit. And you'd be surprised how many people still buy EOL products -.- |
