does anyone know a way to fix a ps3 that does not read disks without sending it back for a new one because i dont have the reciept. i was using it one day and it all of a sudden would not read the disk. tried wiping the harddrive but that did not work

reminds me of my ps2 that wouldnt read disks after 4 months and I ended up screwed. are you still under warranty?

uhmmm maybe but i dont think they will repair it or take it back without receipt. yes this happened to 3 of my ps2's and now my ps3...
