I just ordered a DS computer with a 8800GTS 640mb vid card.I also had the Corsair 620W HX PSU installed in it.I am not a computer guru by any means but i looked at the 12v rail amperage and it says that it is 18amps.Is this enough to run this card with no troubles?

Ya, your fine.
I have 2 8800 GTX, 768's and I was worried with a 850 w supply. I called DSO to see if I should go with 1000 or 1200 and they told me 850 was more than ample.
Nice to see they didn't try to upsell me just for extra profit! I liked that.
Call them if you have any set up questions. They will tell you the exact facts!
But, I am sure your set!

Yes, the corsair 620w can handle the 8800gts without a problem.
Your PSU has multiple 12v rails, each consisting of 18A, adding up to a total of 54A. The 8800GTS is recommended to be used with a PSU of a minimum of 24A on the 12v rail(s). |
