I recently bought a system from you guys and it included a 750watt
Thermaltake PSU and I was wondering if that has enough juice to power a
dual 8800GTX SLI system that I might get in the next couple of months.
I read (on this forum) that 750watts was suggested for an even more powerful 8800Ultra SLI setup. However, I know that 8800GTX SLI requires 4 PCI-Ex power connectors of which the Thermaltake I have only has 2. Is it possible to buy more PCI-Ex cables for it or what? |

I wouldn't run dual 8800gtx on anything less than 850. The rated power calls for dedicated 500 per card, so the bigger the PSU the better off you'll be. But you can always get Molex>pcie power adapters....
