So I have a 600w PSU and I'm looking to upgrade it, but I don't know what the Digital Storm performance one specs are to know what's it compatible with.
Any help is appreciated

Typically, PSUs are not a matter of compatibility except as to physical size that will fit your case. If that's the "specs" you refer to, just measure the area in whatever case you have. Buy one to fit in that space.

When you install the new PSU, make sure you replace all of the power cables inside your machine, and use the cables that come with the new PSU. Not all PSUs use the same modular cables.

Huh?

My understanding is the opposite. The convenience of using a modular psu is precisely that you do not have to remove the cables already installed in the system and just plug them in the corresponding slots in the new psu. But I learn something new every day so....

To the OP: DS branded hardware is just that. The manufacturer makes the piece ordered with your private label. Basically all the same with few changes. You can get the same hardware with another name and it will work. The connections are standardized to facilitate putting it all together.

Frequently the cables are compatible, but not always. Here's a good article that talks about it...

@JamesAstro: thank you for the post and link.

I have always used Corsair's psu products so never had to worry, I guess I was also very lucky! lol
