I placed the order yesterday afternoon CST. How long does it typically take for my credit card to get charged and the process to begin? Does my confirmation number become active after the order has been processed?

I did call my credit card provider yesterday to make sure they allow the transaction.

I had ordered mine over a weekend and before even noon PST on the Monday following I got a call about an issue with my config (this is before any of us knew the Noctua NH-D14 doesn't fit on the EVGA X58 3X board) and once it was quickly worked out the order was updated, approved and card was charged within a very short time after that.

Once your order gets approved and they start the process you'll get an order number, which is like a small 5 digit number, and thats what you'll use to access the site with to get the current status of the order. But they also email you any time there are any changes or updates with the order so you'll never really need to check on it on the site.

EDIT: Nice config, by the way.

Liq,

It's been really smooth for me. I ordered on Monday, they called me that day to fix a credit card issue...silly me gave them the wrong card #. Anyway, it got charged almost immediately after. Yesterday (Wednesday) the computer as assembled and entered final testing (stage 5). It's moving quite rapidly. Ordering over a weekend or on a Monday appears to be a good idea.

With luck, my computer might ship tomorrow, which would be....awesome...

Let me know what you think about that HAF-X! I was stuck between that and the Assassin, but ended up having to go with the 922 due to limited room on my desk.
