Hi all,

Thanks to those in past for the help in coming up with this....like others, one final check before I purchase.  Note I added the monitor to this, but may elect to buy elsewhere....anyway, mainly looking for final comments to the system.

For budget reasons, I decided to go with the GPU 470 vs. the 480...saves $150. What do you guys thing about that?

Otherwise I think this is pretty straight forward, no?  Did something good happen this week that gets me the 3yr. warrantee vs. 1yr? If so, great!  Thats what the configurator is indicating?

Finally did I pick up somewhere that the 932 case has a default red light?  I assume that is an easy switch when I make the order.

Oh, i plan to game in 1920x1080 (or 1200).  I actually dont play the most graphic intense games, but want to have the ability to do so.  Want something that lasts and is potentially upgradable.

Thanks!

eh, pretty good, i would change:

down to the micro motherboard, unless you want to sli (which i wouldnt reccomend anyway)

down to the noctua u12p, unless youre an enthusiast overclocker, its more than what you'll need

id go up to the corsair PSU for a bump up in quality

you didnt list your specific needs as far as how you use your computer, but if you mainly game i would scrap the SSD for a 480. if you do a lot besides gaming, consider keeping it.
everything else looks good, switching out that fan is not easy they are custom cut so its either the stock fan (which i believe has a switch to turn the LED off) or you can buy a blue replacement from coolermasters site

Cool, thanks....I wasnt sure about the noctua so I went with the bigger because I thought, well bigger is better....

Noted on the PSU, I thought I had that.

I do do some other stuff besides gaming, so I think I'll stick with the SSD.  But thanks for the comment.

I guess you mean switching out the red fan is not easy?  I thought I read somewhere that the DSO folks would probably be able to do so.  No need to comment here, I'll find out when I call them...easy enough fix as you've suggested.

Well, I guess I just have to pull the trigger...Big%20Smile

The 932 comes with a red LED in the front 230mm fan, and I've been told you can turn that LED off.  The issue with changing the color is that it is a huge 230mm fan and there are not many replacement fans that size.  As !ender said, coolermaster is supposed to have a 230mm w/blue LED.

As for the warranty, you need to watch the details.  According to the website, the default now appears to be a 3-year Limited Warranty, which is 3 yrs on labor but only 1 yr for parts.  The 4-yr limited has 4 labor/2 parts, and the 5-year has 5/3.  The recent promotion was for "3 year Hassle-Free Hardware Service", which I sure hope covers both because that's what I ordered...
