I will be placing my order in 2 days and need to wrap up some final details....I'm coming from a 7yr old Dell Pentium 4, 3ghz with 4gb of RAM.

-  Since I will only be using the system for Photoshop, video editing (the app within Windows) and web surfing what video card could I use to get away with it in the effort of saving some dough?

-  Considering a 150gb velociraptor as primary OS drive and 1TB drive...do i need to go this route?  For what I do, will the 10rpm's make that much difference?

-  6gb or 12gb?  Is the Digital Storm certified good enough to go with?  If I go with 6gb will that be enough and will it be 3 sticks of 2GB each so i can just add more later?  If yes, would I just need to match the specs of the RAM and install to ensure compatibility?

-  Seems like a no brainer to OC, but then I have to add a cooler of some sort....the V8 Coolermaster ok?

-  Currently, I have a DVD ROM and a CDRW drive on my old dell....it's nice to be able to copy cd's....to save some coin, if i go with just one DVD/CDRW drive is it a pain the arse to copy image to pc and then burn?  Pretty common practice?

-  Seems like a lot of "stuff" will go into this PC - am I going to be disappointed with the noise level or will it be pretty quiet?

Thanks a bunch.  I have been a member of 20+ forums on a regular basis and they really give a comfort level when purchasing something like this...

EDIT:  Wow, I asked a lot of questions....thanks in advance to anyone that plows through them.

1. a 5770 or a 275 will do great for you.

2. faster HDD for os is always a good thing.

3. 6GB, its 3 x 2GB, so you can always add more later if needed.

4. v8 or Noctua they are both great with Noctua u12 a little better and d14 alot better, for your use the v8 is great but if can go Noctua u12.

5. the only difference is extra step of coying to HDD and from, other then that its the same, but why don't you take the dvd rw from the dell and stick it in the new pc so you got 2 drives, this time they both be dvd rw.

6. you didn't post your specs so I'm not sure what your system is but most of your noise will come from teh gpu's fans when under load.

Our pleasure ask as many questions as you need, that is why we are here
