An Intel QX 6700 processor OC to 2.66 and 2 500 gig western hard drives and the 680 Quad compatible mb.and the Ultra case.  When I try to set  Quake 4 to the highest setting 1600x 1024 it says its in error and resets to the lowest setting. The highest I can go is 1200x1024.What am I doing wrong?
Thank You,

I have the same problem with a 20" acer.  I cant play any games above 1024 resolution.

I just tried installing beta drivers and I think that fixed the prob.. cant really play games though because my comp runs too hot :P

How are you connecting the monitor.. VGA or DVI? Try the other cable and see if it works.
