Just seeing if anyone can help me out on a question. just installed a 120gb samsung ssd into a friends laptop which is an acer aspire 5250 (mb is a acer hma51-bz with a amd e-450 duo core chip) it has 4gig 1333 ram and win 7.   booting time with the ssd is still like 1min 10 sec.from power on to all icons gadges on screen.  ahci is enabled, trim is on. defrag off. all the good stuff. why is it running slow? is it because of the MB being sata 2?

*have updated the bios to recent version

I would download CCleaner and let it clean the files, then check the Startup button and see whats hogging the resources.     It's a good place to start.
