So I am shopping around for a PC.. I have been looking around and I have found the config I want I believe.

My question is this.. (and why it's on this forum)..

I can config a comp a iBuy and CyberPower and get what I want and end up ~2300 bucks.. I can configure the same system on Digital (with small differences) and end up ~3500 bucks. So why is the base build price of a computer ~1000 more at Digital Storm?

I don't mind that it is.. if it's for a reason. I know the warranty seems to be better, 3 years of full warranty vs 1 yr parts and 3 yrs labor on the other two, so a superior warranty I think, but that doesn't explain $1k price difference in the base system.

Anyone got input on this?

Corrected Typo.

Is the link to why must buy it at the price of $1000 more. I haven't bought a pc from this place yet. But I can say I have from ibuypower. I bought it for $600 last year in April. It has a better value against name brand computers in terms of power and cost. Though, I had bad equipment when I first got it. I didn't know what it was. Took me a 3 days of 4hrs to figure out it was ram. Then the hard drive started making a lot of noise. So I did rma for both and got a new hard drive a thinner one along with mushkin ram instead of cosair. The wiring isn't as professionally clean compared to DS work. That's a definite there. The machine ran what I wanted to run with $600. Customer service is so-so It wasn't too bad. The forum is horrible. Would I buy ibuypower again? Not likely....Just my bad experience. I don't like computer crashing when you first get it...It’s understandable. I read reviews has its up and downs who are lucky and who are not before buying and my friend said it’s good so I went with it and we bought it together during a field operation exercise. I did do one comparison of a spec I wanted for ibuypower and Digitalstorm months ago and found out digital was just 100 extra and I was like damn I going over with DS! That was a while back with my own specs you know.I haven't bought one yet because I'm in Iraq. I do want to buy one because of the community here and the reviews it has made. With a business of A+ is hard to come by when trying to please a mass of people. I don't know if I will buy one yet when I realize in the army you will move a lot ...so moving a computer will be annoying for me at least now that I think about it...I think you should definitely try DS out if you're serious about a powerful computer. It’s worth more the money and hassle-free compared to ibuypower. ^^ Peace.

I seem to be not getting any reply, I was just looking to see if there was something besides 'because they put more effort/time/knowledge into the build'. Anyone? (And that is a legitimate answer btw..)

Generally speaking the standard components they use are of higher quality than the other guys therefore the system will cost more.   I have seen that in a lot of posts here and I have seen independant reviews that have stated pretty much the same.

Mekerek post your config you want to get, I will get you a better price from DS, you are probably making a mistake of using blackops to config.

tell me your resolution and budget.

Buy and CyberPower are pices of crap, I would not own one if you paid me, they use cheap parts, in about 2 years of owing one of those you will realize what huge mistake it was.
