Topic: Question about case Posted: 10 Sep 2007 at 12:52am |
Hello. I was wondering if an 8800GTX would be able to fit in the VALUE Series case. The page says high end video cards are not recommended, so I just want to make sure whether it does or doesn't. I really want to purchase a DS computer but I am also on a strict budget, so I am trying to exclude everything I do not actually need. Thanks in advance.

The 8800GTX Video Card is good to fit in the VALUE Series case.

It will fit, if you are on a budget, then go for it. If you were going with two 8800GTX cards in the VALUE case, then it would run a little hot.

What if you were to put two 8800GTS(640)'s in that case?

You going to have heat issues since the cards are so fat.
A GTX is a better investment then SLI 8800 GTS 640MB. |

Is $200 and a higher electricity bill really worth the ~10% (5-20 FPS) increase in performance in some games?
The SLI GTS takes up as much as 450W while the single GTX takes up as much as 300W. And the GTX competes well with SLI GTS at high resolutions. |
