Having a new build done involving SLI 1070 GTX cards. My prior system with 900 series card had the annoyance of dealing with a 24 inch TV on HDMI booting on POST first versus my 27 inch display port monitor displaying the POST first correctly. Found out this was due to the BIOS enabled for CSM and Windows 10 installed as legacy. Would require CSM in the BIOS to be disabled and Windows 10 installed in UEFI mode to correct.
Is that still an issue with 1000 series cards where Windows 10 has to be installed in UEFI mode with BIOS CSM disabled? If so can DS install and configure this way? This new system will have two monitors that only use display port so legacy mode causing no POST screen to boot is not an option. Edited by blackcatfoe - 11 Jul 2016 at 4:42pm |
