i have a older computer that can still run some games and i have another stick of memory but its a different brand does it give the computer any problems if i stick it in? i cant right now because id need a better mobo is why im asking before i get it

It needs to be the correct type as the other stick and needs to fit into the slot.

lol... yea i knew that? im not gonna stick AGP video cards in a PCI slot lol i mean does having 2 different brands or memory conflict with eachother

No, they just need to run at the same speed.(Latency)

Yea and every other sick had to match, aka same color slots=matching ram oh and you will default to the lowest rams settings
