Hi all let me start out by saying I love my new ODE lvl 1, so far its been awesome. My question is the case when ordered from Corsair comes with both a clear window, and a mesh one for better cooling, I was wondering how I could get a mesh one for summer use?
Apartments here in the Seattle area rarely have AC because we get a very short summer, but it does get into the 90's and even 100 occasionally, so I would like to be able to switch to the mesh with a fan or 2 added for the summer, and back to the window to keep out the dust the rest of the year. |

You can contact DS directly to order the side mesh for the ODE. Or you can order them through Corsair as well.

if you ever feel adventurous, you could modify your clear window panel to accept a couple of fans. i used a dremel to cut out an 80mm hole (and installed an 80mm fan) to increase airflow onto my GPUs.

All I can say is wow! DS really does have awesome customer service, I called today and asked about ordering the mesh side panel, and was informed they were shipping it out to me for free. I will be recommending Digital Storm to all of my friends, as well as on the several tech forums I participate in.

Our summers are pretty hot. I recently ordered a ($30) replacement door + mesh insert direct from Corsair for summer use on my son's Ode.... and ordered (4) Bitfenix Spectre Pro 120 mm blue LED intake fans ($15 ea) from FrozenCPU...
We set up a "summer door" with the mesh to add extra intake air. During the winter he can easily swap back to the normal window door. Reduces case temps several degrees C....Works great.
