I have the HAF case (smallest one when I ordered last April).

I tried installing a new harddrive today, but I couldn't.

There is no where to mount the hard drive.  The already installed hard drive has some kinda base that I couldn't find in any slot.

Also, I have mobo EVGA x58, where do I hook the SATA cable??

I found two, one connected to my HD and the other one connected to the CD/DVD Player.

check the parts you got maybe you got the base there, connect your sata cable to one of the free sata slots, you should have a bunch of them.
