Topic: Question about my "program files" Posted: 22 Jan 2010 at 10:11pm |
For some reason I seem to have two. There is one that is regular Program Files and the 2nd is Program Files (x86). When I download new programs or games it seems like half go into one and half go into another. I assume that is not supposed to happen so what do I do? Just move everything over into one and delete the other?

One is for the 32 bits programs (x86) and the other (program files) is for the native 64 bits applications

ya like e06028 says they are suppose to be there, don't delete any of them, you install 32bit apps in the x86 folder and the 64bit apps go in the other folder.
