Hi, quick couple of questions here: If I order a gaming rig from DS with all the components except a video card, how would the system be tested and burned in properly?  Also, how would installing my own video card(s) affect the warranty that comes with the system?  Thanks in advance.

They first test the pieces separate. Not getting a video card is a option they offer. Im sure if you buy your own and put it in and have any problems with the card you wouldnt ask them too fix or replace it. Though you could ask them for advice to be sure you have a compatible card.

Personally, I'd ask em to install my card after shipping it to them. That way you know the system is working right. Smile

Harleyman got it right. However, if the card you send us is bad, you would be responsible for covering shipping on getting the card back, having it replaced, and sending us a new card.

I don't recall of it.  But when I saw it, that's the first thing I thought you had put down... then I re-read it and tought "darn... it would have been funnier the other way".
