Hello,

I recently ordered a PC (haven't received yet) and I was going through the system configuration and came across ths below:

Power Supply: 600W Digital Storm Performance Series (Supports up to an NVIDIA RTX 2070 GPU)

Then I checked which GPU I had and it says GeForce RTX 3060 Ti 8GB.

What does this mean that the power supply will not support this and only support up to an NVIDIA RTX 2070 GPU as it says??

I am confused, someone please answer this.

THanks!

600W is plenty.

I am sure THAT just needs to be updated and was valid at the time, when the 2000 series cards were top of the line.

Sorry, don't know what you saw, but my configurator says 3060 Ti. Just FYI, Digital storm would not under any circumstance send you parts that would not work together.

That said, I don't recommend below the 850W PSU just because it limits in a pretty inconvenient way what you may do with the system in the future. You may change it if you want to if you're not past Stage 4.

DS systems have a way of lasting a very long time, and having blanket upgradeability is a good idea IMHO.

Digital Storm systems definitely last a very long time. I just replaced my 12 year old Digital Storm system last week with a new beast. In all those 12 years I only had to replace a fan.
