Are we allowed to purchase upgrades for them before they even ship it out to the customer? I heard of people changing their order for the custom platforms, but I was just wondering if that applies to the prebuilt deals as well.

As far as I know, no they will not. The reason is because each has been through all the quality tests and is already packaged for instant delivery.

you will have to do the upgrades when you get the system with prebuilds.

You can upgrade it later, but, you won't be able to upgrade it while it's at the facility. The reason why these are marked down is because they are already built, packed, and basically ready to ship to customers.
