I have only recently taken notice to DS and I was wondering if they run a lot of promotions?  The reason I ask is because I just recently bought a system from ibuypower which upon first boot up gave me a blue screen.  After determining that my video card (4870x2) was faulty I set up an RMA.  Then the computer would no longer turn on at all.  After noticing that several other people were also getting blue screens on the initial boot up, I realized that there is no way that they fully test all of the computers they ship.  So today I called up and set up a new RMA for a refund.  I have priced out a very similiar PC through DS and with the current promotions it is still within my price range.  However the problem is that it is going to take some time for my ibuypower system to be shipped back and disassembled at which point they will give me my refund.  I won't have the money to purchase the DS system until all of that goes through, so I was wondering if DS runs a lot of promotions or better yet if they can offer me any sort of rain check?  I would put the order through now if I had the cash on hand.  As soon as my money is refunded I intend on submitting this order.  But without the current promotions ($250 off + free shipping + $150 off) I would be looking at over 3k which I cannot do.

I would talk to DS directly.  While they have had 3 different specials in the past month, there is never a guarantee of what lies ahead.  Perhaps they will take a deposit or something.  Good luck.

Bah, ibuypower... that website reminded me of cyberpowerpc.com, so needless to say they managed to scare me off the second i hit enter.
 
Ive heard so many bad things about both of those companies, im so glad i didn't purchase a pc from them.
 
As far as promotions go, I missed out on the last promotion and it took them about 20-30 days to launch aother.
 
Call them tues and see if maybe they can extend the promotion for you until you get your funds.

Called up today and talked to a guy named James.  Seriously helpful.  He took my info and said he would take care of me.  I am really excited to do business with this company.  I wish I would have come here to begin with.  Do you know if the instant $250 off and the free shipping are part of the current promotion or is that something they do all the time?  I forgot to ask when I was on the phone.
