Hey guys, because I had some bad RAM in my computer, I've had to take my RAM out and put in some new sticks. I haven't had any problems, but I did notice when starting up my computer that the DRAM_LED (on my AUSU P8X77-V LX) turned on for a second and then turned off. Everything started up fine, but I'm a bit paranoid now. Is it normal for the DRAM_LED to turn on for a second when first starting up your computer or is it possible that I didn't correctly seat one of the sticks (not sure how that's possible if the computer starts up fine).

As long as the LED goes off I think your good to go. It does check the ram on boot and if it sees a problem stays on until fixed.
Good luck Double check with your mobo manual under Onboard LEDs.
