Topic: Question about the DS upgrade featurePosted: 17 Jul 2009 at 11:09pm |

I just bought my first gaming rig....I chose the pre-configured system that is currently selling for $1808. One of the features it says you get with the system reads: "Upgrades: Life-time labor free upgrades for component upgrades purchased directly from Digital Storm." Can anyone tell me what exactly this means? Glad to be a part of the Digital Storm community btw.

So are you saying that if I buy a new component they will pay for me to ship my system to them, install it, and ship it back for only the cost of the upgraded part? Sorry for the dumb questions...I just could not find anywhere on their web site that really explains that policy.

no you pay shipping and all that, what you don't pay is labor, you also have to buy the componenet from them.

We don't buy back the old components. You would be buying the hardware at it's full retail price.
