is there a software that could be coupled with the pinnacle hdtv video capture card, that could act like a dvr, where i could have set times for it to record.

i ask because i am coming into some money, and i wanted to get a tivo (among other things), but i would like to eliminate anything i can buy just adding on to my pc (that i dont have yet, that i will be purchasing from DS)

best thing to do with your Tivo is to use an external drive.

but your TV card should come with some app that lets you record
