I have a few question about water cooling my haf x case. At the moment the haf x case is stock besides adding a second 200 mm fan above and removing the 140mm fan and replaced it with H70 for cpu.
computer specs as followed.
1, Intel I-950
2. 12gb ram Dominator 2133ghz
3, 2 60 SSD in raid 0
4. 1 Tb hardrive
5. corsair 1000psu
6. x58 x power big bang bus motherboard.
7. 480 gtx (gpu)
I was thinking of taking out the H70 and add a better water cooling system , At this time I want to cool just cpu only.
i know i can add one 360mm radiator, what fans should i use? should i put fans on both top and bottom of radiator? Can I add more then one radiator to cool down the cpu? if so where can I install them? I was thinking to install xspc bay reservoir and pump. Dual 5.25” Bay Reservoir (Alu Front.

1. its not just any radiator, your lc system performance is dependent on rad/fans/block. if one of those is not a good one, your temps will suffer, or if the fans and rad are mismatched, the performance will suffer.
2. you can have fans on the rad regular (one side gets covered in fans) or do push/pull settup (both sides of rad gets covered in fans). 3. you can add as many rads as you like to cool down the cpu, but IMHO for your use a triple is more then enough. 4. you can install more rads on top the of the case or outside back. 5. no need to go with that res for the setup you are talking about. now for rads you want to get a xspc "rx" series rads, and then put Scythe gentle typhoon fans on them. reservoir can be swiftech or bitspower and pump can be swiftech or laning, block should be swiftech xt or heat killer, I recommend the xt.
