Question on Cables

   Received my rig (will post review/pics when I get it running) and my hard drive 
failed the first day.  During trouble shooting to make sure it was the dirve, I went 

to swap sata cables and noticed that I didn't recevie any extra.  I find this strange 

as I have the classified board with several sata slot available.  So I grab one of my 

sata cables laying around, but it is not as compact as the cables DS uses.  Not 

a big deal but one of my case lights is close up to the sata ports on the board.  I 

can not connect my standard cable to the board because of this and even DS 

cables are a very tight fit.  So is it normal to not get extra cables?  If so, I will 

have to re-locate my light, do I need to be concerned about where I place it 

relative to heat issues?
